Portugal has hosted the first Formula 1 Grand Prix since 1996. Starmaxx dealers were among the participants of the race in the TCR category.
Coinciding the same dates as the Portuguese Formula 1 Grand Prix race held between 23-25 October. Starmaxx was represented by binary drivers Rodrigues& Filhos. The Stamaxx hosted its dealers at the lodge and tickets were provided for VIP customers. Only 27,500 people were allowed to participate in the race due to the Covid restriction. Starmaxx is taking environmental health issues seriously and provides VIP seats to enhance customers' comfort as well as our main priority to keep customers safe from any risk due to the Covid-19 pandemic.The Algarve International Circuit with its undulating nature and many special turns offer a great challenge for all the drivers. Besides, the slippery surface of the circuit required more effort for the drivers. The new tarmac asphalt makes the circuit more tricky however tire requirements increase and improved grip is required as well as durability as the heat required to maintain grip may lead to the tire expanding or blow out. “It was a tough race but it was not so much a concern thanks to specially designed Statmaxx tires”, Rodrigues added.
The race was also broadcast live on many sports channels for people who are not able to attend because of the Covid-19 restriction.
